The story Goes on
Sept 21st……
So we are forced to have this assembly (team building kinda
stuff) thingy at work, and I am soo not interested, nothing fun ever happens at
this things. Well Today was different, for 1, rather than some boring talks, we
were made to drum.
Having my seat, suddenly this guy, tall, dark (would prefer
fair but oh well), and kinda cute came to seat next to me. Like his cute smile
wasn’t enough, his scent was rosy in a masculine way (not the gay type), I’m
still noticing this and oooo, seems he noticed me too, he’s draggin his chair
as close to mine as possible (lol, he
didn’t even look @ me tho, may be I’m just making up things in my mind). So the drums were fun, and he was wearing a
tightly fit t_shirt which showed every strand of his nicely toned muscles as he
beat the drums (shivers) not enough room to talk with him though.
Suddenly the instructor said we should turn and look to the
side, hmm what noow? Then he said give the person infront of you a massage.
OMG preety boy was at
my back and does he know how to work those fingers, I could bet $200k that I
don’t have that he was masseur. I didn’t want it to stop, but the silly
instructor didn’t just say we should stop but that we should turn the other
way, so my turn, errr steep competition. Anyways I had to do it anyways, and I
won’t lie, it was exciting, touching them musssccllleeesss :D.
After the drum noise (yes we were all not playing in
sequence), he looked at me for the first time and asked what department I
worked in,…… blab la, and we exchanged contacts,…. Oh yeah and he says I have a
nice smile. :P. Such a nice guy, he escorted me to my car, well that’s what I
thought until I realized he was parked just a few cars away.
They say there is a 1st time for everything,
today I actually looooved something at work, lol.
Sept 22nd ........
Work was tiring; I was everywhere, every time. I could
really do with a massage (now remembering drummer boys hand work). I really
need to find another job, this is becoming boring and annoying, I don’t even
want to talk about this Stephan of a Lady at the office, she is not worth my
time or energy , mscheew, nonsense. Anyways, I am going to sleep now, I need
the rest. #yawn.
Sept 23rd …
Yaaaay, TGIF, finally some time off. Sometimes I wonder if
there are people who so love their jobs that they do not look forward to. So I
and the girls are going for a night out, no guys, I had to come home to get
ready yaay.
Here is the thing, do
not get me wrong, I like men, A LOT, but these days it seems all you find are
boys and dogs it’s disgusting. Fine we get you
have hormonal needs but that shouldn’t stop you from having a reasonable
intellectual discussion for at least 20minutes. May be because I have 4
brothers and 7 male cousins who are
always around, I kind of see through every boys scheme even before they start
their game.
Anyways, off to the party with the gals. Cynthia is getting
transferred. We are celebrating. But I bet all of us were not celebrating her
transfer, but the fact that she’s no longer going to be around us. You see
Cynthia was what you called the boss’s pet. Pretty, nice and also good at her job,
basically she made every other person look bad, not on purpose though. So yeah, Big partaaay. Rented 2 limos and off
to the club
.
dvd, tv, mood lights, champagne bar, 8 seat capacity that make love to your back |
It was
at the pent house of a tower and strictly by invitation (Kagiso “KNEW” the club
manager). As usual, thirteen hot girls (yes I like to think I am hot), bottles of the
best kept flowing (u know how the VIP gets). Anyways, as this waiter drops the
bottle, he hands me a card and points to the right, OMGGGGG it was #name
withheld# an R&B celebrity, and he just gave me his card, whoop whoop. The
girls kept saying I should go over to his table, but heck I had to play hard to
get at least a little. After a couple of minutes as I am walking towards him,
some groupies #eye rolling, rushed toward him. Talk about tough luck, I wasn’t
about to go join them, ooh no and if I just turned back the whole world would
know I was going to meet him. Luckily, Cynthia from nowhere grabbed my hands
and said we should all go dancing. Lool, while dancing some boys (as in really,
boys), would come to see if they can cash on their luck and we give them the
“you gotta be sh**ing me look”, worked well.
Partially drunk and fully tired, we headed back to the limo,
well not in the same finesse we did when
coming in. Kagiso
was drunk as hell and kept hitting on the 50 year old limo driver, that was a
good laugh, she even flashed him, the poor man was stoned.
A few of us dropped off, the rest of us went back to
Cynthia’s and continued the party, starting with office gossips (sooo not going
there) to how we are going to miss Cynthia. Fun night not had this in a while.
Sept 24th ……
Omg its 2pm in the afternoon and just waking up. Aarrgh, we
slept pretty late. I needed leave immediately. Wait, I am forgetting something,
“mr celebrity’s card”, where is it, I seem to have lost it, this cannot be
happening, this is the 1st major celebrity that has hit on me ever,
#crying, and I have no clue where it is. Noooooooooooooooooo. Heading to my
place to do chores, yeah after a night of mad fun you wake up to the reality of
your life, Oh well…….. I fink I want a baby, they are so cute. They were all
over the place when I went shopping, it is like the universe is sending me a
message. Cousins came over, so I had to cook for a battalion, on the plus side
you see the happiness and it makes you happy, nothing like family, I LOVE MY
FAMILY.

The diary's tale
Hello all, it has been a long time, yes I know.
Unfortunately I had to attend to REAL life work that has taken a lot of my
attention. Oh yeah and I was also indisposed for a while, thank God for all.
Anyways, what happened at work. I and a colleague went for a
conference in Johannesburg.
Johannesburg, err, it is alright, the weather I loved
though, coming from 34 Celsius, almost everything is better.
Anyways, work
started the very next day, it was a three day program that comprised conferences, exhibitions, suits, old people, educating
talks, interesting personalities etc.
Exhibition : airlines and cargo allied companies |
new and i believe helpful contacts were made |
yaay free food: i have no idea what those were. |
Negotiations and deals on the spot |
yaaaaawwwwn |
SO much to say, I am skipping a lot. The conference was for
3 days and everyday was packed busy. The final day ended earlier basically
because there was an extra activity for that day.
the capt said cracked jokes like this all the times i saw him |
everyone's favorite Issa Baluch got a life achievement award |
After lunch we all went back to dump the suits (was fun
seeing very official people in casuals). Into the coach, for about an hour and
half, and we got there.
And so the cocktail time, and I was on this table with my
colleagues and some other Nigerians I met there. Bleaaaurgh, it was boring, I
really didn’t want to be talking about the problems of Nigeria while having a
cocktail in the cool breeze seeing the head of a giraffe, no it was a time to
just chill , pleeease.
u really didn't expect me to put up the pic of the ppl i am talkin abt did u? |
Unfortunately,
the 2 ladies on the table were keeping to themselves, whatever. So I stood up
to get a few bites and then on my way back, a lady accused me for not getting
her one of the lovely souvenirs we had, and suddenly all eyes on the table
on me, hmmmm, I instantly said, I am sorry I don’t understand English, and they
all laughed (finally, a table to join.).
So from fun talk to some more fun talk, soon I realized I
and this other girl were stretching over the unfortunate guy between us to have
a discussion(lol). She is purely south African (black dad, white mum, gave her
a nicely light toned caramel skin). The weird part was that she was slim and
was still SOUTH AFRICAN (wink). We got talking a whole lot, stood to get some
food, on the way back got dancing, with food in our hands, then back to the
table. So with all the talking, she invited me over for a small party at her
place that night, and yes I went.
At this point I bet you all are waiting to read some
exclusive stuff, nope, sorry.
This story is about how after the party, I was looking for a
place to rest a bit and I wound up in her sisters room where I stumbled on a
book. I picked it up and opened, it was a diary, really? In 2013? you know
me, I like to know things, so I peeked a little. Ok may be more than just a little.
Please find below, details of what I remember from reading
the diary that night, well the part that interested me.
And so it began........

PENNY WISE
So, sometime last year I and a couple of other people were
in the car just leaving an outreach. Several discussions took place and
suddenly a young graduate (interpretation meaning, just got a job and thus doesn’t
have that much money to spend on a car) was complaining as to how he was
shopping for a kia picanto (worth around $11,500)
and other people around at that moment were staring at him
like his water just broke or he needed to change his sanitary pad. Well, just
look at the car, you can’t blame them much.
Anyways, about 2 weeks ago, a reader complained about how
UNAFFORDABLE many of the cars I review are. In his words “how many people could
buy those cars”. Sadly that’s a fact. So today I want to present you with a
list of cars that are quite affordable without the expense of reducing your
testosterone level or the need verbally negotiate to increase your bride price.
FIAT 500($15,500)
makes a statement |
Undoubtedly, this car is HOT, it is just about the same size
as the Picanto. This however would take you there faster, with more stability
and definitely more style.
all premium quality |
total value for money |
Honestly, for a guy it doesn’t say buff, but it says
good taste. For a girl, cute and cuddly. And on the inside, it has all the
basic tech needed and a little extra. You pay for the entertaining drive experience.
HONDA JAZZ/FIT ($15,425)
dashing |
simple sporty look |
Not sure why they use different names in different location.
The Jazz, is in some way a little mellow(uninteresting) on the looks, but from
the front its quite dashing,
equipped to the max for its price range |
not to forget that its much bigger, so it’s more
money, but more value too. And its Honda, so durability and reliability is also
sure. I think this packs more value for money.
HYUNDAI ACCENT ($14,545)
luxury feel lay out |
sexy sedan |
cute hatch |
Personally this is one of Hyundai prettiest cars. For a
youngling even for a middle aged person. You don’t get the power in driving or
speed, but you get the economy, style and even space.
KIA SOUL ($14,400)
This kind of gets to your soul. You can’t say its ugly yet
you can’t out rightly say it’s beautiful. It’s more of a fashion statement,
like a trendy vehicle.
So yeah, definitely cool. And it is bigger and just slightly
more expensive than the Picanto. Truth about Kia though is, the design would
change real soon and you would hate your present model, plus something
unnecessarily breaks within about 2years.
KIA RIO ($13,600)
omg sooo cute and contemporary |
err, the rear kind of looks like a SEAT, very original KIA |
This is the next in line after the Piacanto. But its finer,
bigger, faster, more stable and some say even faster.
note: this is not the base version |
Would easily take you on
your daily routine routes and you would still look stylish (seriously, why buy
the Picanto).
TOYOTA YARIS ($14,370)
lower and more balance, more aerodynamic |
personally, the interior is DULL |
Err, it is a Toyota, so it gets the job done, maintenance is
cheap and you can depend on it. Amazing thing is that there is so much
improvement from the previous design.
obviously no space for a kidnapped person |
OH, almost forgot to say fuel economy.
Obviously you do not power and speed, but it definitely surpasses the picanto (what
doesn’t).
MAZDA 2 ($14,720)
oo wow @ alloys |
Looks a little small, but the styling is sleek. Space is not
soo much either but Mazda is really working on achieving high efficiency, aerodynamics and
economy.
This is one of the cars that gives so much tech for the little price
tag.
FORD FIESTA ($13,200)
a working class dude can use this without his pride getting damdaged |
looks weirdly tall, but okay |
this is another car daily city car with great value for money |
They made one of the very first mass produced affordable
cars, no surprise they can design such good looking, fantastic engine, spacious and good quality material. For extra $200 you could get the 5 door hatch.
CHEVROLET SONIC ($14,185)
also comes as a sedan |
young, girl or guy, this is for you. |
yaaaay, picnic |
I believe (assumption) that this replaces the Aveo and this
does a fantastic job at that. The design is quite artistic and contemporary.
At
the same time it’s also spacious, economical and basic tech. The Americans are really serious.
CHEVROLET SPARK ($12,185)
like a mini sonic |
This is the smallest in the range, and its cheap cheap
cheap. It also takes from the Sonic the artistic and classic design.
It
replaces the Matiz and is a little bigger but the space generally is not
fantastic. But it’s still a cool car. Don’t let the looks deceive you, its not
exactly sporty, but for a fresh graduate you better manage it.
VAUXHALL CORSA (£9,495)
Still one of the best selling small cars in the UK. They
have redesigned the new model and made it more economical with the engine
making it cheaper to run and to own. The quality of material used has even
increased a bit.
HYUNDAI I20 (£9,745)
This basically applies to those in the UK, cause when you do
the conversion it is more expensive than the Accent (which is bigger and better)
in the USA. This new design is slightly (still not the funnest of cars)cooler
and nicer than the former geeky one.
So, finally please do not waste money, as a young graduate spend money wisely and get everything you need from a car as much as possible. Hope this helps.
Drive safe
